Sonic X is the most recent Sonic animted series and the second Anime of Sonic. The series is composed of 78 episodes split in to two seperate series (three seperate seasons in Europe and North America) based on both tye-ins and original plotlines. The English dub was produced by the company that also dubbed popular Animes such as Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, 4Kids Entertainment. In 2005, Archie Comics Publications began a monthly comic series based on the show.
